Our History
Made Whole Nation began in January 2021 as an online Bible Study, Oasis Bible Study, amongst friends, just a group of believers gathering to grow together in the Word of God. In April 2021, Pastors Josh and Serena came under the covering of Kingdom Culture Church and leadership of Pastors Kyle and Rachel Watkins. Here, they served in whatever capacity needed while still being cultivated. Through their guidance, the vision was strengthened, leading to a series of monthly pop-up services at the end of 2021.
On July 3, 2022, Made Whole Nation officially launched with the first in-person service in Hempstead, NY, marking the beginning of a ministry dedicated to transformation and Kingdom impact. From the very start, the mission has been clear: to cultivate disciples, baptize believers, teach the gospel, equip effective leaders, and send Kingdom representatives into the world to advance God’s Kingdom and dismantle the works of the enemy.
Pastors Joshua and Serena Tyson were officially installed into the office of Pastors of Made Whole Nation on September 4, 2022, marking a significant moment in the establishment and leadership of the ministry. On November 3, 2024, Made Whole Nation celebrated the elevation of Vivian Robinson to the office of Minister and Jalanna Walker to the office of Evangelist, affirming their call and commitment to service.
In May 2025, the ministry relocated to Amityville, NY marking a meaningful transition as both Pastors Joshua and Serena attended school there and spent much of their adolescence. This positioned Made Whole Nation to continue its mission in a community deeply connected to their personal and spiritual journey.
Beginning in Hempstead, NY in 2022, Made Whole Nation has remained steadfast in its commitment to community outreach, meeting practical needs while sharing the love of Christ. Through initiatives such as Ice Cream Sunday, we created welcoming spaces for connection and fellowship. Each fall, we host a Backpack Giveaway to support students and families as they prepare for the school year. During the Thanksgiving season, we serve our community through a Thanksgiving Giving Tree, ensuring families receive essential items and holiday support. At Christmas, we partner with Toys for Tots for a Christmas Giveback, blessing children and families with gifts and hope. As the ministry expanded to Amityville, NY in 2025, these outreach efforts continued and grew, including our annual Family and Friends Weekend, reflecting our heart to serve with consistency, compassion, and excellence wherever God has planted us.
Made Whole Nation is committed to building strong children’s, women’s, and men’s ministries - empowering people of every nation, culture, and background to be made whole in Christ and to walk boldly in their God-given purpose.
